Organization Chart
The organization chart of the Debtors Ombudsman is divided into 3 main sections under the supervision of the Ombudsman, Ásta Sigrún Helgadóttir, and the Chief Legal Officer.
Service for people in difficulty with payments: Provides assistance and advice for individuals who are struggling to pay their debts.
Finance and operations: Provides financial management and operations of the institution.
Education and promotion: Provides information and promotion of the operations of the UMS and information to the public on payment difficulties and resources.
