We are looking for a driven programmer with a solid technical background who is interested in building and working in a strong team. At TR, you will have the opportunity to work on developing new solutions, improving and developing existing systems, and participating in diverse and challenging projects that support digital development and service automation.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Programming and development in TR's systems
Programming and maintenance of connections to external systems
Further development and improvements of TR's information systems
Participation in innovation and improvement projects in the field of Digital Development
Qualifications
A university degree in computer science, engineering, or another university-level education relevant to the job
Work experience in similar roles is desirable
Knowledge and experience of TypeScript, React (Next.js), .NET Core, C#, REST, and PL/SQL
Experience and understanding of DevOps processes (e.g., CI/CD, Azure DevOps) is an advantage
Experience with Docker, Git is an advantage
Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of technical architecture is an advantage
Experience with teamwork, e.g., Agile/Scrum
Initiative, independence, and organized work methods
Good cooperation and communication skills
Good proficiency in Icelandic and English

This is a temporary position for one year with the possibility of an extension.
