Results of the TR service survey

At TR, the emphasis is on good and professional service and therefore we wanted to explore the customer’s attitude towards the service.

In a service survey conducted by Maskína in late 2023, it was found that trust in TR was almost the same as trust in other companies and institutions that Maskína has conducted service surveys for, or 3,35 for TR and 3,38 for others. The satisfaction of TR customers with the service was similar to that of other companies and institutions that Maskína conducts surveys for, or 3,46 for TR and 3,90 for others.

The interviews were conducted on the attitude and conduct of the staff and 74% of respondents believed that the attitude and conduct of the staff was very good or good, 21% believed it was moderate and 5% believed that the attitude and conduct of the staff was rather bad or very bad.

Almost half of respondents believed that TR was doing very or rather well in disclosure, almost 18% believed that TR was doing rather or very poorly and almost 34% believed that disclosure was moderate. When asked about the website tr.is specifically, just over half believed that it was very or rather easy to use the website to obtain information. And over 16% believed that it was not. Over 32% believed that it was moderately easy to use the website. It can be noted that a large part of information regarding social security has now been accessed on Ísland.is and in the spring, all information from tr.is will be on Ísland.is.

The sample was random to 16,000 individuals, those who had received payments from TR on 1 November. The individuals received an online survey sent by e-mail, as well as calls to those who had not confirmed e-mail addresses or had not answered the survey. A total of 1,763 individuals responded to the survey.

TR thankes all those who took the time to respond to the survey, it is very valuable to us to receive direct response from our customers. The results will be useful in our ongoing strategy and organization of our business so that we can provide the best and most efficient service.
