For invalidity and rehabilitation pensioners, the holiday compensation is 20% of the income guarantee and the home supplement based on the average payments for the last 12 months.

For old age pensioners, the full holiday compensation is ISK 50,256. The compensation will lower by the pensioner's other income by 2% until it is eliminated. Those who receive half old age pension shall receive 50% of the amount.
