Disability and rehabilitation pensions The December benefit for disability and rehabilitation pensioners is 30% of the average monthly income insurance in 2024 and 30% of the average monthly home allowance paid. The benefit is paid according to the number of months that the person receives payments from TR in the current year. Based on full income insurance, the December benefit is ISK 60,542, but the amount changes according to the proportion that the person is covered by income insurance. Those who have a home allowance will also receive ISK 20,464 in the December benefit.
