TR makes an estimated settlement of TR's entitlements for the year 2024 based on other pre-registered income on the tax return. The result of the settlement is subsequently pre-registered on the tax return in the appropriate box. So that in the tax return for 2025 the person concerned will see the amount that the entitlements state in 2024, taking into account other income. It may be a different amount than was actually paid. It is important not to change these pre-registered information on the tax return. This way, the attempt is to reduce the likelihood of a re-taxation for 2024 at the Tax.

However, a portion of the customers receives a annual salary slip which only mentions the payments received in 2024, without the expected settlement being made. This is because the person concerned has accounted for income in his income plan at TR that is not included in the pre-registered information on the statement; such as foreign income, rent income or irregular capital income.

The final settlement of the TR’s rights in 2024 based on the tax return for 2024 will be made this spring and the result will be published in May.
