Access to My Pages TR with IceKey is not possible after 20. March

It is no longer possible to open TR's My Pages with IceKey This decision is made because it is no longer possible to support the use of IceKey on Ísland.is due to serious vulnerabilities and the importance of secure login. The closure of IceKey is necessary to ensure the security of sensitive data of those who use TR's services.
Electronic IDs and the ID app are the most secure way to log in and meet modern requirements for secure identification. Therefore, it is necessary to have an electronic ID or an ID app on a mobile phone to access My TR pages as well as My Ísland.is pages. TR customers who have been using an Ice Key to log in since September 1, 2024 all received a notification from TR about this change earlier this month.
Auðkenni offers several types of electronic IDs, good information about them can be found on the Auðkenni website. For individuals who do not have the option of using an Icelandic phone number, the Auðkenni app can be useful. An Icelandic phone number is not required to use the app and it can be obtained anywhere in the world if the individual has a valid Icelandic passport.
Auðkenni offers assistance with setting up electronic IDs by calling 530 0000, or at their office in Katrínartún 4.
