The Social Insurance Administration receives the Equality Scale Award 2024

The Social Insurance Administration is among the 130 entities that received recognition from the Equality Scale Award, the FKA’s dynamic project. This includes 93 companies, 15 municipalities and 22 public bodies. The criteria is to have a 40/60 gender ratio in the highest level of management.
In a report from FKA states that Ásta Dís Óladóttir, PhD and Professor at the University of Iceland and chair of the Equality Scale, who opened FKA’s festival for the equality scale award, praised the managers for their notable achievements in gender equality. Former Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir spoke and reviewed the gender equality situation in society in general.
The MoD project is supported by FKA, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, Creditinfo, Deloitte, Pipar/TBWA, the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, the Icelandic Federation of Fisheries and the Icelandic Fisheries Association.
