Insurance Institute Enters into Agreement with Defend Iceland to Promote Cyber Security

The Icelandic National Insurance Administration has entered into an agreement with Defend Iceland aimed at ensuring increased cyber security and protection of sensitive data in the agency’s operations. With the agreement, TR will have access to cyber security solutions that ensure continuous monitoring and security against ever-changing cyber threats.
The cooperation includes the use of the Wildfire portal Defend Iceland, a specialized platform that simulates the methods of cyber attack groups to identify and correct vulnerabilities in networks, software and computer systems. This method helps TR to prevent cyber attacks and ensure safe handling of sensitive data and information.
This cooperation is part of a greater emphasis on cyber security in public institutions and provides the basis for further development and cooperation in the field of cyber security solutions and digital civil protection.
