A certificate of no tax arrears confirms that you or your company have no overdue taxes or public charges registered under your Icelandic ID number (kennitala).

The certificate is only issued if there are no outstanding payments past their due date. A payment may prevent the certificate from being issued even if the final payment deadline has not yet passed.
