Sign language interpreters play an important role in Icelandic society. They facilitate communication between users of Iceland’s two equal languages: Icelandic and Icelandic Sign Language.
The Communication Center is advertising two vacant sign language interpreter positions: one permanent position and one temporary position.
The Center is also seeking sign language interpreters to join its roster for specific, occasional interpreting assignments.
