Office of the Attorney General
The Office of the Attorney General shall handle legal proceedings for the State and its institutions. This is mainly a defence of civil cases before the courts and, as the case may be, arbitration. The State Attorney shall also handle the prosecution of cases brought by the State against others.

At any given time, there are usually approximately one hundred and twenty court cases and a similar number of compensation claims and other matters.
