Damage handling
The normal processing time for claims is around two months. This varies, however, and can be both longer and shorter depending on the circumstances of the case.
After the damage assesment has been completed the owner will receive the conlusion NTI has come to, a certain time is then given to express views on the assesment. It is possible to expedite processing of cases with confirmation from all owners that they have no comments to the result of the damage assesment. If no such confirmation is sent the processing of the case continues after the specified time limit for expressing views and making comments has passed.
Electronic communications will speed up the processing time of cases. If all the owners approve electronic communications and fill in all the requested information on “my pages” this will greatly expedite the case processing time.
