Implementation not subject to environmental assessment

The Icelandic National Planning Agency has decided that drainage wells for the disposal of condensate water from Kröflustöð, Þingeyjarsveit, shall not be subject to an environmental impact assessment according to law no. 111/2021.

The decision can be appealed to the Environment and Natural Resources Committee and the appeal period is until 21 October 2024.
