Opening hours of the reading room during the holidays.

The reading room of the National Archives will be closed on December 24–25. It will be open on Þorláksmessa (December 23) and on December 30
Opening hours of the National Archives of Iceland reading room during the holidays will be as follows:
December 23: 09:30–16:00
December 24–25: Closed
December 29: 09:30–16:00
December 30: 09:30–16:00
December 31: Closed
Regular opening hours will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. Visitors who plan to use the reading room during the holidays, on Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30, are kindly asked to order documents by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 23.
