Early voting in the presidential elections in hospitals and prisons in South Iceland
Early voting, in hospitals and prisons in the district of the District Commissioner of South Iceland, is conducted as follows:
Selfoss and the surrounding area:
Sogn Prison, Ölfus, Tuesday 21 May, 10:00 - 11:00.
Sólheimar in Grímsnes, Wednesday 22 May, 13:00 - 14:00.
Heilbrigðisstofnun Suðurlands Selfoss, health and nursing departments, including Móberg Friday, 31 May 10:00-12:00.
Eyrarbakki:
Dvalarheimilið Sólvellir, Eyrarbakki Tuesday 21 May, 14:00 - 15:00.
Litla Hraun prison, Eyrarbakki Friday, May 17 10:00 - 11:00.
Hveragerði:
NLFÍ Health Institute Thursday, 23 May, 13:00-14:00.
Ás, residential and nursing home, Hverahlíð 20 on Friday 24 May, 09:30 - 11:30.
Hella:
Lundur, nursing and residential care center on Tuesday 21 May, 10:00-11:00.
Hvolsvöllur:
Kirkjuhvoll, nursing and residential center Wednesday 22 May, 13:00-14:00.
Vík:
Hjallatún, a retirement home Wednesday 22 May, 10.30-11:30.
Kirkjubæjarklaustur:
Klausturhólar, nursing and residential homes Wednesday 22 May, 14:00-15:00.
Höfn:
Skjólgarður, residential homes Tuesday 28 May, 13:00-14:00.
Voting is only for those staying at the institutions concerned.
On election day, June 1, voting will take place outside the election meeting for the presidential election as follows:
• At Heilbrigðisstofnun Suðurlands Selfoss, at 10:30-11:00.
• At Litla-Hraun prison at 11:30-12:00.
• Sogn prison at 12:30-13:00.
Voting is only for those who stay at the institutions in question and could not vote during the pre-announced absentee voting.
The voting may be canceled if it is known after consultation with the representative of the organization that the voting is not needed.
