Applications for Division Director Positions at Land and Forest Iceland

The application deadline for four Division Director positions at Land and Forest Iceland expired on 11 December. A total of 28 applications were received for the positions. The Division Directors will work under the institution’s new organisational structure, which will take effect at the turn of the year.
Applications were invited to lead four of the five divisions defined in the new organisational structure of Land and Forest Iceland. The names of the divisions and the number of applications received for each are as follows:
National Forests, Land and Infrastructure – four applications
Services, Advisory and Transformation – six applications
Research, Monitoring and Performance – seven applications
Finance, Operations and Digital Development – eleven applications
The processing of applications is already underway. The new Division Directors are expected to take up their positions at the beginning of the new year, or shortly thereafter as appropriate. The applicants are as follows:
