ISAC's fee schedule
The Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs issues the ISAC fee schedule, published in the Official Journal. The current fee schedule no. 1201/2024 came into force on 29 October 2024.
The application fee covers the provision of information and guidance on the application, the receipt, registration and review of the application and accompanying documents, and a report on the results of the initial review.

In the case of a branch of a testing, certification or inspection body, where the same type of activity is carried out as in an already accredited head office, 75% of the application fee is charged for each branch.
The accreditation fee covers the selection of assessors, preparation of the work including the time plan, assessment of the quality system, reporting, preparation of the accreditation certificate and management of the accreditation.
For these tasks, an hourly rate shall be paid according to the number of hours worked.
The hourly fee is ISK 20,000.
All travel expenses shall be paid according to submitted invoices.
Costs for the work of technical experts shall be paid according to submitted invoices.
The surveillance fee is paid annually and covers administration of an accredited body, the selection of assessors, preparation of the work including the time plan, reporting, management of the surveillance and a report on the results.

In the case of a branch of a testing, certification or inspection body, where the same type of activity is carried out as in the head office, 30% of the surveillance fee is charged for each branch assessed in that year.
All travel expenses shall be paid according to submitted invoices.
Costs for the work of technical experts shall be paid according to submitted invoices.
For necessary assessments outside the regular assessment schedule, such as due to follow-up of the processing of non-conformities or due to unforeseen events, an hourly fee shall be paid in accordance with the number of hours worked, unless otherwise agreed.
