The title of a document indicates whether it is mandatory or informative. The documents are classified as:

• mandatory documents (labelled MD) - see documents

• informative documents (labelled ID) - see documents

ILAC - International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation

The documents are classified as:

• mandatory documents, usually referred to as ILAC-P or ILAC-R

• guidance documents, usually referred to as ILAC-G.
