The National Service Survey

The national service survey is conducted annually, and the results for 2025 are now available. Health insurance is among the top performers of the year.
Satisfaction with the services of Iceland Health is measured at 3.4 in 2025, up from 2.9 the previous year. Furthermore, satisfaction with the speed of service rises from 2.5 to 3.0, and experience with staff interaction increases from 3.4 to 4.0. Satisfaction with Iceland Health services is increasing in all the categories measured by the institution.
Attitudes towards the services of 63 agencies were surveyed, and the results are based on approximately 140,000 responses received last year. Overall, 86% are satisfied or very satisfied with the services of government agencies, according to this latest government service survey. A total of 23 agencies achieved the milestone of receiving a satisfaction score of 4.2 or higher. Generally, a score of 4.2 or above is referred to as being within the so-called strength range, which is a measure of high quality in operations.
