A new product list for hospital beds and people lifts has been published

Icelandic Health Insurance (Icelandic Health Insurance) held an auction on a framework contract for the purchase of hospital beds and personal lifts for health insured persons earlier this year. New contracts based on the auction took effect on 1 September last year, and Icelandic Health Insurance has subsequently published a new information booklet and product list.
The main changes from the previous call are that the number of companies with which Iceland Health has contracts has increased from six to seven. At the same time, the number of product numbers has increased from the previous call and new product categories have been added, and these include the new product categories; Air mats for adjustable bed base and Transport equipment with seats and footrests.
The product list contains a summary of the models for which Iceland Health has contracted to purchase from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026.
