Iceland Health Communications Manager
Iceland Health seeks a powerful and engaging individual with a keen interest in communication and information sharing in the work of a communication manager.

The position includes responsibility for the communication policy of Iceland Health, as well as public relations, media relations, oversight of publicity and publications, and news and articles. The communications manager will also oversee the digital presence of the agency on social media and oversee material published on the website.

The request is for an individual with a university qualification that is useful in his/her work and considerable experience in the fields of publicity, communication and public relations. The questionnaire also asks for knowledge and experience of web management and the supervision of social media and knowledge and experience of the Icelandic media environment.

Chief Executive Office Manager
Iceland Health seeks a committed individual with policy experience and a keen interest in reform and innovation in the Office of the Director of Central Administration.

This involves close collaboration with the Director on the strategic projects of the Institute and consultation with its Executive Board. The Director also oversees policy coordination and follow-up and is involved in the development and implementation of reform projects in the operations of the Institute.

The request is for an individual with a Master's degree at university level who can be used in a job. The person concerned should have experience of policy-making and reforms, and experience of administrative work and experience of innovation issues is desirable.

Leading expert in the Contracts Department
Iceland Health seeks an experienced and driven individual with who does not waver in work under the pressure of a leading specialist position in the Contract Department.

The job involves acting as an agent in negotiations and having a leading role in negotiations. The work also includes initial studies for new services, membership of collaborative committees for specific contracts and participation in contract evaluations.

The request is for an individual who has a university education that can be used in a job, e.g. in the health sciences, business administration or law. Ideally, the person in question has experience leading negotiations, experience in public procurement and a good analytical ability.

It is also possible to hire an expert in the Contract Department without a leading role.

Leading expert in the Health Services Department
Iceland Health seeks to promote project managers to the position of leading specialist in the Health Service Department.

The work includes general project management within the Health Service Department, reporting on contract implementation and the preparation of needs and cost analysis, as well as active participation in the development of the department's digital services.

The request is for an individual with a university education that can be used in a job, e.g. in the health sciences. Ideally, the persons concerned should have experience of, or knowledge of, health issues, as well as management and supervision of projects. Experience in data processing and presentation of statistics is also an option.
