Health center registration
It is recommended that clients who require monitoring and treatment at HSS are registered with the HSS Primary Health Care Center.
Registration is completed on the island.is website in a few steps:
Open the registration page:
Register with a health care center – island.is using electronic ID.In the line labeled “Heilsugæsla” (Health Care Center), you will see which center you are currently registered with.
If a different center appears than “Heilsugæslan Reykjanesbær ”, click “Change registration” at the end of the line.
Select “Heilbrigðisumdæmi Suðurnesja (Vogar or Suðurnesjabær)” (Suðurnes Health District).
Choose “Heilsugæslan Reykjanesbæ” by clicking “Save” at the end of the line.
The updated registration should now appear on the screen.
Alternatively, registration can be changed by filling out a form at the HSS reception desk.
