All services in the interest of children's prosperity shall be provided based on what is in the child's best interests. 

Children's prosperity entails ensuring conditions for the child to achieve physical, psychological, cognitive, moral and social development and health on their own terms.

Ragnheiður Diljá Gunnarsdóttir a midwife at Infant and Toddler healthcare at HSN Akureyri is the Main Coordinator for Children's Prosperity at HSN. The Main Coordinator's role is to monitor and support the implementation at all HSN locations, to be a guide for others and to coordinate procedures.
