HSN receives renewal of Equal Pay Certification

HSN_Equal_Pay

At the end of March, a complete renewal of the Equal Pay Certificate was carried out at HSN, but this time, certification was carried out by Vottun ehf. The organization has now received confirmation from the Equal Rights Office and is therefore permitted to use the label until March 2027. The certification is based on the Equal Pay Standard ÍST 85, which promotes that procedures and decisions in wage matters do not involve gender-based discrimination.

It is gratifying to report that no unexplained wage difference has been detected in HSN’s wage analysis, as gender is not a determinant of job performance. However, inequality can have other manifestations than those detected in the equal pay review, and we have therefore adopted a new gender equality policy and strategy, where we focus more on other factors than wages and more substantive factors.
