Guðrún Dóra Clarke is the new Chief Medical Executive at HSN

Guðrún Dóra Clarke has been appointed as Chief Medical Executive at the Healthcare Institution of North Iceland (HSN). It is planned that Guðrún Dóra will start working soon.
Guðrún Dóra completed her medical studies from the University of Iceland in 2004 and then received a specialist license in home medicine in 2011. For the most part she has worked at the Healthcare Center in Akureyri as a general practitioner and for a period as a superintendent at the same location. She has also worked as a general practitioner in Norway and at Heilsuvernd health clinic. She has also been the Director of Specialization in Family Medicine since 2020.

The appointment is granted subject to confirmation by the Medical Director's Status Committee.
