The center will be closed on Wednesday April 8 while staff relocate to temporary facilities at other locations. All standard services will be provided despite the closure in Fjörður.

Services from Heilsugæslan Fjörður will be provided at the following locations starting April 9, 2026:

• Prenatal care and infant and young child health services will be located at the Sólvangur Health Center, Sólvangsvegur 2, 220 Hafnarfjörður (see map).

• Psychological services will be provided at Þönglabakki 1, 109 Reykjavík, 2nd floor (see map).

• All other primary care services will be provided at the Efra-Breiðholt Health Center, Hraunberg 6, 111 Reykjavík (see map), between 8am and 4pm on weekdays.

Staff will answer any further questions regarding service arrangements by phone at 513 5400 between 8am and 4pm on weekdays. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure where to go or if you have any other questions.
