When a medical test is performed at a health center or a sample is sent to a laboratory a testing fee is charged. A list of billable tests and their costs can be found in the price list.

An invoice for testing fees is generated at the same time the test is ordered. The invoice is sent to the patient’s online bank. It may take several weeks for the invoice to appear in the online bank.

It is possible to pay on site instead of receiving an invoice in the online bank if the patient does not have online banking or prefers to pay at the time of service.

If a scheduled test is not carried out the invoice is cancelled and refunded.

The collection of testing fees and other charges is based on regulations on cost participation for healthcare services.
