The Electronic Communications Office of Iceland (ECOI) regularly conducts self-assessments to evaluate the maturity of cybersecurity and risk management practices among telecommunications providers and operators of digital infrastructure. The assessments provide both supervised entities and ECOI with a clearer overview of the cybersecurity landscape and support the prioritization of future oversight activities, audits, and testing.
