On Monday October 19th, the website of the Electronic Communications Office of Iceland (ECOI) will be migrated to island.is. The move is part of ECOI’s strategy to align with the Government of Iceland’s digital transformation initiatives and to make use of the shared digital infrastructure of the public sector.

Users are advised that existing bookmarks and links to pages on the current website may no longer work after the migration. If you encounter a broken link, we recommend searching for the relevant content on island.is and updating any saved bookmarks as needed.

The objective of this transition is to improve accessibility, user experience, security, and consistency across government digital services.

We appreciate your understanding during this transition and look forward to welcoming you to our new home on https://island.is/en/o/ecoi
