Kilometer fee for electric, hydrogen and plug-in hybrid cars

When a new owner or lessee of a vehicle is registered an odometer reading must be performed.

The logged odometer value must be approved by the new owner/lessee. When the new registration is made, a settlement will be sent to the seller.

The new owner/lessee will incur the kilometer fee from the date the new ownership is registered at the Icelandic Transport Authority.
