Social Insurance Administration: Settlement and collection

Is the estate or its heirs entitled to receive a credit?

The estate and heirs have the right to receive a credit paid.

If the deceased's bank account has not been closed, a credit is paid into that account unless the estate agent has requested another arrangement. If an account has been closed, the estate agent must provide information on a new bank account to TR.

If there is no representative or if the exchange is complete, all heirs must give one person a power of attorney to receive credit.
