Iceland Health: Rights between countries
The school did accept the insurance statement and now I have to pay for their insurance, is that correct?
No, students in the United States usually do not have to pay for school insurance. When points of our statements are deemed unsatisfactory, schools often request that students purchase special insurance before approving students for admission to the school. In these cases, contact international@sjukra.is directly and request a special insurance statement to meet the university's insurance requirements.
