I am a student in the EEA moving home to Iceland. How many days does it take to activate my health insurance?

An application for health insurance shall be submitted along with a student confirmation. When an application has been submitted to SÍ, the general time for delivery is 4-6 weeks.

I need to get confirmation of my insurance, or an E104 certificate so that I can stop paying for my insurance abroad. Can I get a certificate like this?
