If you have started receiving a full pension from TR, you do not need to submit any documents.

If you have worked at sea for 25 years and meet the requirements of Article 17, paragraphs 8 and 9 of Act No. 100/2007, you can apply for entitlement as an elderly person even if you are not yet receiving a pension from TR. To do so, you must submit documentation on sea-visits (legal registration date) that can be accessed from the Icelandic Transportation Authority. The documents can be sent to Data submission of individuals on Iceland Health website.
