Is a processing statement always required with a catch certificate?
A processing statement only needs to accompany catch certificates if the catch has been processed in any way.
Processing of a catch includes, among other things, cutting, filleting, canning, smoking, salting, cooking, pickling and drying. Fishery products that are only frozen and/or packaged do not require a processing statement.
