The Directorate of Fisheries: New catch certificate system
For products we buy processed from other processing plants, should we issue a processing certificate or just a catch certificate for those products?
All products that have been processed in any way require both a catch certificate and a processing statement, regardless of whether the exporter is the one who processed the product or not.
Processing of catch includes, but is not limited to, cutting, filleting, canning, smoking, salting, boiling, pickling, and drying.
