When a spouse receives an error in the application, two things need to be checked.

On the one hand, if the pregnant parent submits an application on paper, the spouse must also submit an application on paper. Currently, it is not possible to send one application on paper and another digitally.

On the other hand, the pregnant parent has to complete and submit their application digitally before the other parent. Before that, the spouse cannot complete their application.

If neither applies, you can send a picture of the error as well as information about the national ID number to island@island.is.
