Embassies issuing entry visas

If an applicant needs a visa to enter Iceland, the Directorate of Immigration will send a request for an entry visa (D-visa) to the appropriate embassy. These may include the Icelandic embassies in London, New Deli, Peking or Washington D.C. as well as Danish or Norwegian embassies issuing entry visas on Iceland's behalf.

If your country of residence is not on the list below, the Directorate of Immigration in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will seek ways to get you an entry visa.
