Customs Portal (Tollalínan) – overview of shipments and charges

In the Customs Portal (Tollalínan), you can view all information relating to your shipments, customs declarations, cargo manifests and charged import duties.

You can also retrieve statements of charges and landing certificates.

The Customs Portal is available to importers, exporters, customs brokers, carriers and individuals with electronic IDs.

Authentication and authorization

To use the Customs Portal, you need electronic ID to sign in. No separate application for access is required.

For companies

An authorized signatory can grant employees and others, such as accountants, access through a mandate on Ísland.is. Everyone with a mandate can view the same information in the Customs Portal for the relevant company.

Grant an employee access to the Customs Portal.

For individuals

You sign in directly without a mandate and can view your own customs declarations.

  2. Go to Access Management from the home page or under Overview.

  3. Click Register New Authorisation.

  4. Enter the national identification number of the person who will receive access.

  5. Select The Iceland Revenue and Customs Authority under Access Management.

  7. Click Register New Authorisation and confirm.

Allow Employees to Manage Access for Others

If you want an employee to be able to grant access to other users, you must provide two separate authorisations:

  • access management rights and

  • access to the systems they will be authorised to manage.

1. Grant Access Management Rights

  1. Sign in to My Pages on Ísland.is and switch to your company profile.

  2. Go to Access Management from the home page or under Overview.

  3. Click Register New Authorisation.

  4. Enter the employee’s national identification number.

  5. Select My Pages on Ísland.is under Access Management.

  6. Click Select Permissions, choose Access Management at the bottom of the list, and specify the validity period.

  7. Click Register New Authorisation and confirm.

2. Grant Access to the Systems

You must then grant the employee access to the Customs Portal and/or Web Customs Clearance using the same process described above. Otherwise, the employee will be able to manage access rights for others but will not be able to use the systems themselves.
