Authorization of a physician, veterinarian, or dentist to purchase medicines in wholesale

According to Article 30 of the Medicines Act No. 100/2020, wholesale license holders are permitted to sell medicines to doctors, dentists, and veterinarians for use in their work if they hold a valid professional license. Any doctor, dentist, or veterinarian who wishes to order medicines wholesale for professional use is assigned a delivery number by the Medicines Agency.

Who can apply

Doctors and dentists with a valid professional license from the Directorate of Health and veterinarians with a valid license from Matís.

Cost

There is no fee for issuing a delivery code.
