A side effect is a harmful and unintended/unwanted effect of a medicine.
Anyone can report an adverse reaction to the Agency and it is enough to suspect that it is an adverse reaction to be reported.
The role of the Agency is to receive and evaluate reports of adverse reactions in a comprehensive manner; the Agency therefore does not provide information on the evaluation of individual reports of adverse reactions, nor does it advise on the response to possible adverse reactions and the use of medicines.
