Iceland is 5th in the United Nations ranking
Iceland is moving up in international comparison regarding digital public services and infrastructure. In a new United Nations review conducted every other year, Iceland is ranked 5th out of 193 countries but 12th in 2020. Of the countries in the top ten in the survey, Iceland is the highest riser in the gap between the surveys. This jump upward between the two assessments brings Iceland above nations such as the UK and Estonia. Countries leading in digital services, and we Icelanders have been looking to.
Digital Iceland at international conferences
Digital Iceland took part in the discussion and shared Iceland's success at two international conferences of digital leaders in Ottowa, Canada.
Company certificate of indebtedness
Now companies can retrieve a certificate of indebtedness at Ísland.is. The application is the first to use the agency system to check the connection between individuals and companies.
Three institutions were awarded for Digital Steps
Congratulations to the District Commissioners, the Financial Management Authority, and the National Police Commissioner!
Connecting the state 2022
Great participation was at the Connecting the State conference this year, the third time the conference has been held. Some 400 people made their way to Harpa, and a large number watched in streaming.
