Specialist in Endocrinology
The Department of Endocrinology at Landspitali, The National University Hospital of Iceland, is seeking a specialist in endocrinology.
We are looking to hire an organized, solution-oriented individual with good communication skills who works well in a team. The Endocrinology Department is staffed by a strong team of specialists working in a multidisciplinary environment and in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for continued professional development and involvement in research. Emphasis is placed on high-quality service, active teamwork, and continuous improvement for the benefit of patients.

The position is full-time (100%) and is available immediately or as agreed upon.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical work in the endocrinology outpatient clinic
Provision of endocrinology consultations
Participation in the consultant endocrinology on-call rotation
Contribution to general internal medicine services, as required
Active involvement in teaching, supervision, and research activities

QUALIFICATIONS
Medical license as a specialist in endocrinology
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work in English and/or Icelandic in a professional healthcare environment

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION AND APPLICATION:
A full-time position at the hospital is on offer. Salary according to the current collective agreement concluded by the Minister of Finance and the Economy and the Medical Association of Iceland.
