Application for theoritical examination viewing

Candidates in theoretical knowledge examinations at the Icelandic Transportation Authority may apply for examination viewing after an exam sitting.

Application form for an examination viewing must be filled out and the application sent as an attachment by e-mail. You can also submit an application to the reception of the Icelandic Transport Agency, Ármúli 2, 108 Reykjavík.

Next examination viewing

The examination viewing for the private pilot and commercial pilot examinations will be held on 23 October 2024 at the premises of the Icelandic Transportation Authority, Ármúli 2, 108 Reykjavík.

  • The examination viewing will begin at 13:30 and end punctually at 15:00.

  • A limited number of examinations may be examined at once.

  • Note that applicants may be allocated time to view their examinations within the specified period.

Payment

The examination fee is 624 ISK for each examination applied for. You can pay for an examination show with:

  • Telephone payment. ICETRA numbers 480 6000 - paid by credit card.

  • Transfer. The Icelandic Transport Agency account: 0515-26-131260, kt. 540513-1040. The applicant's social security number must be put in the note and the receipt sent by e-mail to the addressee.

Applications and payments must be submitted by 21 October 2024 at the latest. Applications for an examination show are not accepted after that time.

Please note that it is NOT possible to complete payment of examination viewing fees at ICETRA's reception on the day of the viewing.

Examination viewing

  • Exam questions will be displayed on a computer.

  • Only answers to questions that were incorrectly answered on the exam will be displayed.

  • Only students who took exams in the last sitting can apply for an examination at any given time.

  • Note that applicants may be allocated time for examination viewing within the specified period.

  • Applicants have 15 minutes to view each examination (no more than 60 minutes in total).
