On Thursday, September 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Science Day of Akureyri Hospital will be held in cooperation with the School of Health Sciences at UNAK and SAk
At the annual meeting of Akureyri Hospital, employees who have retired due to age since the last annual meeting were honored. They have all had successful careers at SAk and have contributed to the important work of healthcare services in North Iceland.
This year’s theme is Healthy Aging. The focus is on improving the functional ability of older adults and reducing the risk of falls through better balance and increased strength.
The Annual General Meeting of SAK will be held on May 27th. This year’s theme is: “Communication, Safety, and Quality: The Foundations of Good Service.” The meeting will also be streamed online.
