The community recognition of the Cancer Society is granted to those parties that the society considers to have contributed to the cause in a noteworthy manner.

Services provided by the Children and Adolescent Psychiatric Team (BUG) at the Akureyri Hospital (SAk) will be transferred to the Healthcare Institution of North Iceland (HSN) from 1 October.
