In the third quarter of 2024 (July to September), the National Archives of Iceland received 50 archives for preservation. Of these, 14 were from public entities and 36 were from private parties.

The World Health Organization (WHO) dedicates one week each year to immunization, from April 24–30. In Europe, both WHO Europe and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) are responsible for producing materials and disseminating information in connection with European Immunization Week.

The Icelandic Education Awards 2025 were presented at a formal ceremony at Bessastaðir on 4 November. The awards highlight innovative and high-quality work in schools and leisure education, recognising outstanding contributions to educational improvement across all school levels.
