Strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and public sector improvement at Fjársýslan’s well-attended event

In May, an awareness campaign will be launched regarding the registration of next of kin in individuals’ medical records. The aim of the project is to raise awareness of the importance of this information and to encourage people to update their registration as needed.

The meeting took place at the Icelandic Coast Guard headquarters in Skógarhlíð last Wednesday.

Heilsugæslan Fjörður will temporarily relocate due to elevator renovations in the facility. Services will be temporarily moved to other locations . The center is expected to reopen in Fjörður in May.

Akureyri Hospital has been leasing nine buildings, comprising around twenty apartments, at Kristnes. Currently, there are eleven tenants, while nine apartments are vacant.

At the Akureyri Hospital, increased specialized services in colorectal surgery have been developed in recent months. Two surgeons at the hospital, who have expertise in lower gastrointestinal surgery, have led this development alongside their general surgical practice.

At a well-attended Psychology Conference held at Hotel Reykjavík Nordica on 27 March, two psychologists from HSN, Anna Lilja Sigurvinsdóttir and Aðalheiður Jónsdóttir, delivered presentations.
