A total of 245 hectares of land in Skeiða- og Gnúpverjahreppur have been treated with bone meal this year. In addition, 87,000 birch seedlings were planted across 58 hectares. The new disability pension scheme will take effect on September 1st 2025. As part of the implementation of the new system, payments for those individuals who have a valid disability assessment will be calculated on August 31st 2025 and will appear in the new payment plan for 2025. New payment plans for approximately 19,000 individuals have been published on My pages of TR. The vast majority of the group will receive higher payments.
